April 30 – Gila County Board of Supervisors Meeting
The Gila County Board of Supervisors will meet on Tuesday, April 30, at 10 AM in the Gila County Courthouse in Globe, Arizona, to review the current short-term rental ordinance adopted in 2023. Local short-term rental owners cited concerns regarding overregulation in Gila County’s STR ordinance, citing that current regulations do not align with Senate Bill 1168 (SB1168). SB1168, passed in 2022, is a compromise bill providing municipalities with limited control over STR regulation.
While local STR owners are against any STR ordinance in Gila County, they have provided several suggestions to the Board of Supervisors in hopes of finding common ground for fair and balanced regulation.
