Arizona Statewide TPT Requirement
Apply for a state TPT license and file taxes per your city/county requirements. For help:

Register with the County
Local Requirements
Don’t forget: You must install a local phone service available on each floor of the home (a number will be required during the application process).
Apply for a non transferable city permit and pay appropriate fees. You will need:
- Name, address, telephone number of the owner
- Physical address of STR
- Name, address, and 24-hour telephone number of the emergency point of contact
- Name, address, telephone number of each designee of the owner
- Phone number of the STRs phone(s) i.e. landline
- Evidence of registering property with County Assessor’s Office.
- A valid Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) number
- If applicant is an individual, proof of lawful presence in the U.S.
You will also need to:
- Acknowledge compliance with all laws, regulations, and ordinances
- Have a process in place to provide booking guest with a statement of the applicable Town rules and regulations and agreement to comply: parking, noise, trash, nonresidential use, fire evacuation routes. - Comply with the federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations related to public health, safety, sanitation, solid waste, hazardous waste, privilege tax licensing, including advertising requirements, property tax registration, traffic control, pollution control, noise, property maintenance, swimming pool barrier requirements and nuisance abatement.
