Arizona Statewide TPT Requirement
Apply for a state TPT license and file taxes per your city/county requirements. For help:

Maricopa County Requirement
Register with the County
Local Requirements
Apply for a city license and pay appropriate fees.
You will need:
- Physical Address
- Name, address, telephone number of the owner (or statutory agent if owned by entity)
- Name, address, telephone number of each designee of the owner
- Name, address, and 24-hour telephone number of the emergency point of contact
- Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) number
You will also need to:
- Acknowledge to comply with all laws, regulations, and ordinances
- Attestation of neighbor notifications
- Evidence of liability insurance of at least 500K or evidence that each vacation rental transaction will be provided through a platform providing equal or greater coverage.
- Evidence of registering property with the County Assessor’s Office.
Note: Allow 7 business days for city to approve or deny license
